About this place Wharf Chambers

Wharf Chambers is a workers' co-operative members' club, bar and music venue at 23-25 Wharf Street, just east of Leeds city centre. It runs as a not-for-profit with a strict safer-spaces policy. Alongside the regular bar it hosts gigs, queer club nights, drag, cabaret and community fundraisers, and the crowd is young, alternative and largely LGBTQ. Membership is a small one-off fee paid at the door, and you'll need it to get in. It has 4.6 out of 5 from about 650 Google reviews. It's a different scene from the Lower Briggate gay bars, which are about five minutes' walk away. Check wharfchambers.org for what's on.

I’ll never leave Leeds while Wharf is still open! Most inclusive, affordable, fab venue of all time! Music is always fab, crowd is lovely, drinks are cheap. What more could you want?

Great, friendly place to have a drink and socialise. Membership is inexpensive and they have a great choice of beers at very good prices.

The most chillaxed bar in Leeds with a lovely beer garden and the only place with the foosball table!

A wonderful yet hidden gem if you're looking for something alternatively queer. Friendly, reasonably priced, open very late. A huge range of hosted nights and a massive beer garden.

Decent venue with great sound but absolutely dire lighting and if you politely ask for better colours your request is met with distain..Bands love decent footage for promo but not pink and green faces 😞
