Stayed at County Hotel Newcastle for a solo business trip and had a really good experience. The location is spot on, right next to the station, which made everything super easy getting in and out of the city. I did mess up my booking (completely my fault), but Lynne on reception was amazing both on the phone, and in person when I arrived. Lynne took charge of my situation, calmed my stress and sorted it out quickly with no fuss, which I really appreciated after a long day of travelling. She went above and beyond to change things around so I would not have to move rooms halfway through my trip due to my mistake. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—perfect for switching off after work. It also had a bath! As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and well looked after the whole time. Breakfast was outstanding. Would definitely stay again and recommend it if you’re travelling alone for work or just want somewhere convenient and stress-free.
Very helpful and accommodating
Very nice location, very kind and nice staff. Bed was comfortable, enough space in the room. Various breakfast.
Great place 👌
