Visitors frequently praise the Motel One Newcastle for its central location, friendly and helpful staff, and clean rooms. However, a common complaint is that the breakfast is overpriced for the limited selection offered, and some guests found the rooms to be noisy.

This hotel is very well located (close to shops, many restaurants and cafes) and near the metro. The staff is very friendly, the price-quality ratio of the rooms is very good and the breakfast is nice. It was a good choice!

Location, location, location! Really nice hotel in a perfect central location. This is not a 'motel' as there is, as far as I know, no car parking facilities. The hotel is modern, clean and seems to be well maintained. The bed was very comfortable but the room was of the smaller size. Staff were pleasent and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Also, very good value.

Great hotel right in the middle of Newcastle. Great bar also. Staff are really helpful and attentive despite the pressure they are under in a busy city centre hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. Very full pillows!! Beds are quite hard Considering where the hotel is located it's not as noisey as you might think it would be. We've stayed before and we will stay again.

Upon arrival it was lovely, staff was lovely etc. however through the night we had someone walk into our room twice dude to the locks on the door not working. This is quite a frightening experience. Staff were quick to check cctv and the lock which seemed to work at the time they checked however afterwards the lock didn’t seem to work again. We had to resort to blocking the door with a table as we were both uncomfortable that someone would enter the room again. Whilst staff is absolutely lovely and very helpful this situation seems a bit of a safety hazard as it could be absolutely anyone trying to enter the room.
