Perfect location for the Hexagon. Great staff and lots of fun activities. Breakfast was good too. Will definitely go again.

Excellent hotel! Staff were all lovely, polite and professional. Standard room was of a decent size and comfortable. Lounge bar area was amazing, cool chilled vibe. Highly recommend this place!

The hotel has changed many employees in recent times, management, key card in the lift, but the problems remain the same. Cleaning team making noise very early, or opening the door with the guest inside. This is when there are no drunk guests talking loudly in the corridor late at night, since there is a bar at the hotel reception. Also, the doors are heavy and people isn’t so polite, ALWAYS slamming the doors. They seem to have no common sense to know that there are other people resting around. Despite all this, excellent location, bed and shower!

Great hotel! We decided to stay outside of London this time and it was about a hour train ride from London. The hotel is in a great location in the center of everything going on in Reading. It’s right by like the center walk area with all the shops and restaurants. And within walking distance from the museums and the historical sights. The guy at check in was very friendly. The lobby was nice. It had games and a bar and lounge area. There is also a restaurant that serves free breakfast which was very good. It had like typical English breakfast and the yogurts and lots of breads. Then in our hotel room it was clean and perfect size for two people. There were hardly any chargers though. The view was pretty, and cracking the window open was nice. The air conditioner was a bit janky and rattled but also wouldn’t stay on so it was fairly warm to us. The bathroom was fine but no conditioner for hair. The beds were highly uncomfortable, that was probably the only big downside of this place as it felt like lying on a slab of wood. The blanket and pillows were good though. It was quiet I didn’t hear any nose. There was also a gym too. Overall, I thought this hotel was really great for the price the free breakfast alone made it worth it!
