Hôtel Brisbane Marriott

I am staying this hotel and I didn’t find it meets Marriott hotel standards in anyway. Check-in was ok not pleasant. No hot water for shower. Bathroom glass doors have gap making washroom messy with water coming out after shower. Coffee machine not working. No umbrellas available for customers when raining. Restaurant team can not attend guests well, place them in corner and no attention. Sauna - no lockers, no staff, no private shower room near sauna

Husbands 80th birthday family celebrations 2nd and 3rd May 2026. Staff wonderful. Freya at reception, Olivia at restaurant desk, Simon peter our waiter Saturday and Johnny on Sunday. Our family of 9 with 5 rooms occupied were placed on same floor and very much side by side. Very convenient. Would stay here again. The Johnson/Clancy family.

Rooms were very clean and well looked after for an older establishment! The smell when you entered the foyer just smelt like luxury. Excellent, friendly service and great central location! Would definitely come back! Great breakfast and amentities. Valet staff were very friendly!

Amazing…..went for a one night anniversary stay …upgraded to a bridge view and bottle ow wine agent to the room for us….will be back for sure…. Can’t recommend enough

It is wonderful staying at Marriott Brisbane. The comfort makes it feel like home. But service makes the stay magical!!!

A great location. Convenient to a lot to do.

Overall stay was good, however at check-in I found the receptionist to be slightly scatterbrained. I arrived slightly early and my room wasn’t ready, which is fine. I was told I would be moved to a new room and it would be a 30 minute wait. I was given a coffee voucher for the (closed) Motion restaurant as compensation for my wait. I sat and waited in the foyer for 45 minutes, giving them plenty of time, and returned when check-in had actually opened. The new room was still unavailable, and I was moved to a third room. Before leaving reception I asked the receptionist where the rear entrance was, as I was getting picked up there for a tour the following morning. The receptionist advised there was no rear entrance, that there was only one entrance. So colour me surprised when I left the following morning, walked all the way round the building and ended up at the rear entrance. The receptionist failed to mention that room keys were required to activate the lift, so I spent a few minutes standing stupidly trying to figure out what was happening. All in all, check in took over an hour, which was less than ideal. The room itself was lovely, the amenities provided were mostly good. They provide most basic toiletries, though I would have liked a small sachet of shaving foam. The shower was damaged in that when wet, a cover fell off the metal part. The bed is comfortable and the aircon is nice, but is locked at 18 degrees minimum. The remote is fixed to the wall below. The views were spectacular. I would advise if you are charging your devices, do not use the usb ports, use a socket. The usb ports in the room offer a very slow charge. The room service menu is entirely centred around egg. Egg roll, eggs Benedict, egg on toast, you get the idea. As someone who is allergic to egg, I found that I could remove the egg from the dish, but this made the price seem wildly disproportionate. I had the city breakfast sans egg, which was $50 for bacon and two slices of toast, a juice and a coffee.
