Holiday Inn Express

Bad bedding hygiene, rancid quilt. the inner of the quilt probably never got sanitized. After checked in I informed the front desk to provide new linen but only do it after 4/5pm, then soon the housekeeping came and interrupted my nap. Then the housekeeping only changed the cover- still smelly. I happened to need to visit Brisbane again and was considering booking this hotel again but when I checked the reviews, still lots of ppl commenting abt clean conditions. I really hope the management can pay attention to this matter cus this hotel is not a private individual brand. Plz do no ruin the brand reputation

Great location! The room was very tidy and comfortable, making it the perfect place for us to rest. Their breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. A wonderful stay overall!

I was extremely happy with my stay. I was visiting for a business trip and needed a room at the last minute, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I wish I could remember the name of the staff member who assisted me — her name started with a “D” — she was absolutely wonderful. Although I arrived early in the morning and my room wasn’t ready yet, they kindly stored my luggage for me, which made things much easier. The parking garage underneath the property also felt very safe and secure. The location is fantastic as well, with many attractions, restaurants, and bars all within easy walking distance.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was quite disappointing, mainly due to the customer service. Most of the staff members lacked a welcoming attitude, which was surprising given Queensland is often known for its friendly and positive atmosphere. The interaction I had in the morning left me frustrated and disappointed, and it definitely affected the overall stay. However, I do want to give special recognition to Tanvi. She responded quickly when I expressed my concerns and handled the situation professionally and with genuine care. She showed the kind of hospitality and leadership that guests expect, and I believe other employees could really learn from her approach to customer service.

Absolute disgusting smell in bathroom coming from either the drain or aircon. I stayed 5 nights and it was my third time here. Shower curtain was mouldy and they replaced it when asked with one that was too short so water went all over the floor. I had requested an early check in both via email and phoning the hotel and was made to wait in reception for 40 mins after receptionist said she would get housekeeping to clean a room. The indian guy on reception was then rude and said i hadn't requested early check in. Not a good way to treat a regular who stays 6 weeks a year in Brisbane hotels and also a rewards member. The hallways need vacueming. The breakfast is pretty good and a main reason i stayed here though there is room for improvement. Coffee is rubbish. I think I'll be staying elsewhere in the future. Gone downhill.
