One of the best hotels

Boutique hotel opened in 2024, situated just above the old town (Baščaršija) on a quiet hillside – just a few minutes’ walk from the main sights, but away from the immediate bustle. The design uses a lot of natural materials and warm tones, and feels cohesive without being overdone. Our room was generously sized and well equipped, with an espresso machine, USB sockets and good quality toiletries. The bathroom was compact but had everything needed. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and the team was friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast is served in the hotel’s own restaurant, indoors or outside, and stands out for using real local products: proper cheeses, cured meats, fresh bread in various varieties. Eggs can be ordered à la carte, and the coffee is good – both Bosnian and Italian style. One small suggestion: the juice on offer tasted more like a diluted syrup than an actual juice, which felt slightly out of place given the otherwise high quality of the breakfast. Overall a beautifully designed hotel with warm, attentive service. Highly recommended for Sarajevo.

I was very pleased with my first stay and experience at this hotel. I can confidently say that the rooms were spotlessly clean and very meticulously designed; I was very impressed. I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Djane at the reception, Ms. Ajnija in the restaurant, and Mr. Nadis from the purchasing department for their attention, kindness, and professionalism. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

The hotel is new and beautifully decorated architecturally. The rooms are very nice, functional, and comfortable. The hygiene products and fragrances are of very high quality. Its location is fantastic, right at the beginning of the main bazaar. The Kiren restaurant in Alacar is decorated as a luxury restaurant; you can go there for dinner even if you are staying elsewhere. It also offers takeaway service. Thank you very much for the excellent hospitality.

Hotel Baškuća in Kovači in Sarajevo is a top-quality catering facility in terms of room accommodation and a diverse gastronomic offer of high quality. The hotel has a beautiful summer garden with a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. Guests also have access to an underground garage under the hotel. The hotel itself blends perfectly into the surroundings of the old town of Kovači, and is a small architectural masterpiece. The hotel is located near all the most important tourist attractions in the old part of Sarajevo - Baščaršija. For guests looking for top-quality accommodation, delicious and high-quality food, a garage for their car and an excellent location, I recommend it as your destination in Sarajevo.

A new restaurant and hotel, beautifully decorated, with a private garage as well. Reservations are a must. Prices are slightly higher, but reasonable. We spent a wonderful evening and highly recommend it to everyone.

A four-star hotel in Sarajevo. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are extremely professional. The location is very close to Baščaršija (the old market). The hotel is next to Kovači Cemetery. I can say that the rooms are up to European standards. Hygiene in the rooms is excellent. The minibar is well-stocked and the selected products are of high quality. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas in the backyard. Both Turkish coffee and other types of coffee are of very high quality. I hope this professionalism continues. The room rate and the service provided are very proportionate.

I warn future guests of this hotel to be well informed about all the options the hotel offers, and to ask for everything in writing. The hotel staff does not communicate well with each other and I personally had a big problem with the refund of the reservation money, where they first said that it would be refunded, and then they said that it should not have been like that, that I should not have received the reservation money back, that the colleague gave the wrong information, etc. Since I had everything in writing, I did not give up until I got my money back. Only after two months of writing and calling did one employee forward the case somewhere where the money was immediately refunded. The employee also admitted and apologized for the poor communication between their staff.
