Lübeck has no dedicated gay bar or club — and rather than pad this page with mainstream pubs, we'll be honest about it. The city's scene is built around community organisations, not nightlife.

What is here: Lübecker CSD e.V. (which runs Lübeck Pride each mid-August) and the queer youth project QwertZ anchor local life; Dolly Best on Lederstraße is a long-running gay adult shop, porn cinema and cruising venue; and the Wallanlagen (Katzenberg) ramparts are the traditional outdoor cruising area.

For real gay bars and clubs, Hamburg is the nearest city with a developed scene — about 45 minutes by train.
