Great place to host meetings with parking just out of Truro town

A wonderful 1 night stay, with great staff and the evening meal was delicious

Very friendly service and excellent service

Very modern scandi type hotel, staff so friendly and helpful. Stayed over night for the Christmas Market. We were in room 18, very clean and tidy, cozy, comfy bed. Room it's self was slightly cold and a bit bland ,compared to the rest of the hotel. We will stay there again though, so handy for the centre of town.

Great location, staff are friendly and attentive, breakfast was lovely.

Overnight stay here to see Rhod Gilbert Lovely little hotel very clean and guy on reception very friendly and helpful definitely recommend. Only drawback was breakfast was basic that said it was all fresh and again the guy on reception could not have been more helpful

Today I was at Hotel Vara to do a business portrait shoot. I chose it for a number of reasons - Tim and team are always welcoming, the decor is clean, bright and modern, the window light is great … but really it’s the food! They serve home made soups, pizzas and light bites for lunch. All are delicious - but the pizza is especially good. So much so, that I also bought one to take home! Not far from Truro centre with its own parking- well worth a visit!

What a beautiful time. Everything was absolutely perfect. Had such an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was the healthiest Iv had for a long time. Will definitely be back. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience ☺️

Had a great time at the hotel when attending a business reunion event. The food was great, staff were very friendly and Tim was a great help when organising the event. Would definitely recommend this event space

On arrival we were asked to sign a piece of paper commiting to keeping our noise down amongst other things. On our second night there the owner had booked a function downstairs, the patrons of which stayed outside our window yelling until gone midnight. "Large" room more or less had space to walk around the bed, dread to thi k what "cosy" means. Breakfast is "included" unless you want milk in your coffee or anything cooked. The continental that is free is just kind of sad. Would be better off just charging and providing something proper. Awoke in the morning to find that one of them had also scratched my car on the way out. Owner emailed me to essentially tell me that I'm on my own with this one, so the hotel has cost me the overpriced room plus a 600 quid bumper respray.
