George House Trust est l'une des plus anciennes organisations caritatives luttant contre le VIH du pays, fondée à Manchester en 1985, au début de l'épidémie. Basée à Ardwick Green, juste au sud du centre-ville, elle fournit un soutien, des services de plaidoyer, des tests et des programmes de bien-être aux personnes touchées par le VIH dans le Nord-Ouest, ainsi qu'un travail d'éducation visant à mettre fin à la stigmatisation. Elle reste une partie vitale et digne de confiance de l'infrastructure LGBTQ+ et communautaire de Manchester.

Had my first appointment with George House Trust this morning, it was really nice to meet Martyn and Otis, I'm looking forward to hopefully pushing my boundaries to meeting new people, getting me to come out on walks with the George House Trust team on Wednesday, and hopefully other things the team do, it was nerve racking meeting new people but so so worth it to take that first step, I'm hoping I can change my ways of how I think and how others would think of me by coming to George House Trust, but it was great to meet friendly people today and was a pleasure to talk to Otis and Martyn today. I wished I came five years ago when I was first referred to there services. I can be shy when meeting new people but hopeful that will change after today's appointment , Thank you to Martyn and Otis for taking their time to getting to know me today.
