À propos de ce lieu K'uychi Ayllu

K'uychi Ayllu ('rainbow family' in Quechua) is an independent LGBTQ+ collective in Cusco, founded in 2015. It works on visibility and advocacy in the region and organises the Marcha del Orgullo Cusco, the city's annual Pride march, usually held around mid-year. It has no public venue and works mainly through Facebook and Instagram. Check those pages for march dates and community events. Cusco is socially conservative outside the tourist centre, so be discreet with public affection.

I have to say, this is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. No lie. It felt like eating in a truly authentic place where the ingredients are natural. The bread was out of this world. It was so delicious that I went back the next day for more. The customer service was also good. If you're looking for a breakfast spot in Peru, I highly recommend eating here, as many places are Americanized, and this isn't that kind of experience.

I've known Café Ayllu for thirty years; it used to be located right on the main square. I know it for its excellent coffee and the "tongue de suegra" (a type of pastry) they serve. It's a lovely, peaceful place to escape the daily grind.
