Rooms are incredibly decorated and the Spa is great

We recently spent our honeymoon here and it was amazing. It was especially soothing after a week of wedding stress. I thought that it may have been listed as a spa due to having the option of massages being added to your stay but it was genuinely like staying in a spa environment. The host was very friendly but not invasive and helpful with all questions. It was about a twenty minute stroll through a nice bungalow filled neighborhood to get to downtown Asheville and we walked it almost every day.

Asia is decorated beautifully and the owner is knowledgeable about the area and will give you good recommendations on food and activities. The rooms are really unique and cool and are prefect for a getaway.

Calm and tranquil, amazing staff, incredible design work throughout. Highlights besides the design were the in-room Jacuzzi and the delicious breakfast.

To any and all who are looking for a unique B&B experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Asia Bed and Breakfast Spa is almost sure to fit your fancy. Two years ago, my wife and I stopped in here on the first leg of our honeymoon/cross-country road trip, and the experience was such a good one [just the waffles were enough to make my wife want to return!] that we had to return. Having done so recently for our second anniversary, and having once again been able to soak in the charm that emanates from the place, we're sure to come back many times more. The word "spa" isn't just some tacked-on afterthought meant to lure in unsuspecting patrons, either. Though we weren't able to take full advantage of the "spa" component of this B&B on our first visit [despite taking full advantage of the steam shower], we made sure to make up for that by getting a reservation for one of the spa packages available here on our return trip - and it was absolutely worth every penny. My wife is more a connoisseur of such services, admittedly, but even a massage therapy newbie like me can appreciate the effects of really capable massage therapists... and that they were! If you've ever wanted to know what Jell-O must feel like, then get one of their spa packages! [Oh, and be sure to follow it up with some time in the sauna they've got right next to the massage room, too!] As great as the spa treatment was, however, the most serene and tranquil place here is the sunroom/porch [not quite a lanai, but it's almost open enough to be], which offers a view of a really great [and clearly Asian-inspired] garden. Despite being well within walking distance to Asheville's downtown scene, this place is just a great spot to go and relax... it's as if you're completely removed from the happenings downtown and instead in your own little Asian oasis. With a tea, coffee, or fruit-infused water [complimentary, by the way], of course! This place really is quite simply a great little spot that both my wife and I fully intend to return to soon. It has everything we could ever want - cozy and stylish rooms, a very relaxing atmosphere, really tasty breakfasts [it *is* a B&B, after all] and some great spa features. If you're reading this and choose to stay here, I'm guessing you'll feel the same way.

Always a great experience, I enjoy the way we can stay in a familiar place while experiencing it in a different way by simply staying in a different themed room. Asheville is a great place to visit on its on, but ASIA is the best way we have found to experience it. Incorporating spa services with the way Doniel and Nicolette make you a part of the family can't be beat.

This is my second visit to this wonderful, somewhat non-traditional, bed and breakfast. This unique BnB provides a place for peace and relaxation. The rooms, common areas,Japanese zen garden, and sauna with an outdoor rain shower, all provide opportunities for relaxation, sleep, conversation with the inn keepers or other guests, and/or meditation. Jon and Nicolette,the inn keepers, were very friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were scrumptious and healthy. Chrystel gives an outstanding massage with her magical hands. In addition to all the great activities in the Asheville area, plan to spend some time relaxing at the Asia Bed and Breakfast.

The physical environment of both the grounds and the home are stunning. It has to be the most beautiful B and B I have ever seen, and the landscape and accommodations, however beautiful, are even surpassed by the "mental environment" and attentive service. If there were 6 stars available as a rating, I would give it a 7. Jon was the consummate host, seemingly knowing before I did, what i might need or want. A wonderful, yet hidden little piece of the Orient, tucked away in Asheville.

We thoroughly enjoyed this B&B. Very pleasant environment and our only regret was not leaving enough time to just enjoy it. However all the destinations in Asheville which the inkeeper suggested- which was where we spent all of our time- were excellent. People prefer the fall in NC but the weather during our visit the first weekend of May was perfect. Do make use of the spa packages and services also- excellent, attentive staff!

They must be out of business!!! After reading the great reviews about this bed and breakfast I decided to schedule a long weekend there with my wife. I have been calling the business every day for a week now and leaving messages every day. No one has ever answered the phone when I called or even given me the curtsy of returning my phone call. I'm just wondering how good the customer service would be once someone got there if they can't even return a phone call.. I would never spend any money to stay at this place and never recommend it to anyone. There is no option for zero stars because that's what I would give them.

Staying at the Asia bed and breakfast was the most wonderful B&B experience that I've had. The innkeeper, Jon, was incredibly attentive and friendly. The room we stayed in was beautiful and spacious - perfect for romance. The breakfasts in the morning were healthy and delicious, much better than going out. It's a short drive/walk to downtown Asheville. We will be back soon and cannot wait. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a tranquil stay but still be close to all Asheville has to offer.

We spent 4 nights at the Asia B&B Spa and it was an absolute treat! From the decor as you first come in, which refreshingly non-Victorian but Asian-inspired, to the luxurious room with 2-person jacuzzi, gas fireplace with comfy chairs, and a king-size bed, to the delicious AND healthy breakfasts each day, we enjoyed every minute of it. If you really feel like splurging, book a massage (we opted for a couple's massage), and you won't regret it. Luxurious terry bath robes and slippers provided. One minor quibble: being irredeemably European, we don't sleep under blankets, but duvets (individual ones). It's hard to go back to sharing a blanket, somehow. But we managed :-) The owner is a very nice guy who is very knowledgeable about Asheville, and Asia B&B Spa is only a ten minute walk from downtown. We'll definitely be back!

This is by far the best Bed and Breakfast I've ever been to. The Innkeeper is very relaxed, easy to talk to, and was willing to make accommodations for my wife and my numerous allergies (gluten free/dairy free waffles!!). We really enjoyed the spa amenities along with the robes and slippers that were provided. The house is very tastefully decorated, with themed rooms that are clean and luxurious. We will definitely be returning this year!
