It is in an unbeatable location, we haven't taken the car in the two days we have been there. You can go everywhere on foot. The staff is very attentive and some speak Spanish which really helps. The room is spacious and the bed is super comfortable and big. The bathroom is equally large and has a good shower.

Do not use this hotel for conferences. I was staying here as a conference attendee when I was woken in the middle of the night by water dripping from the ceiling directly onto my nightstand and into the electrical outlet where my phone was charging. I have video evidence of this. The damage left my phone unable to hold a charge. I lost a day of the conference dealing with the fallout. Because I was traveling in an unfamiliar city and needed to call rideshares, check in for my flight, and stay reachable by my coworkers, I had no choice but to replace my phone. That came to roughly $700 out of pocket. How the hotel handled it made everything worse. A room move was offered, but a refund for the night was not offered. I had to push for that myself. When I raised the $700 in out-of-pocket phone expenses as a reasonable ask, the hotel questioned whether I had actually needed a new phone at all. This was after Apple's own notes documented that the phone would not hold a consistent charge even with a known working charger. The hotel's suggestion was to let the phone dry for 24 hours and try a wireless charger. That 24-hour window would have ended at 4 AM on my checkout day, hours before my flight, and would have left me without a phone for the rest of the conference. They then asked for additional professional guidance beyond what Apple had already provided, implying the Genius Bar documentation wasn't sufficient. I stayed calm, provided video evidence, and made what I thought was a fair ask given the circumstances. The hotel refused. Maintenance issues happen. Being made to justify a documented equipment failure to avoid accountability is a different problem entirely. If you're here for a conference, think carefully before booking.

Good area next to everything had no issues with room

Absolutely horrid experience, they decided to cancel reservation after precheck in and rooms paid.

The location is great. It's near the lake and bus stop. Rooms are value for money. The hotel has a vague policy about breakfast which seemed complimentary at first but then I was charged for it. It should be clearly stated to guests if the breakfast is included and not. We were given a $40 breakfast coupon which we used only half of it but we later billed the full $40. Had I known that I will have to pay for the breakfast, I would have gone somewhere else. The staff is nice, the policy seems deliberately vague. We got a room where the window was practically useless with no view. The building in front of the room blocked most sunlight.

The rooms were very old and outdated. The mattress had noticeable sunken areas, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The advertised "Smart TV" was extremely outdated and barely functioned. The refrigerator was weak and seemed as though it was not cooling properly. There was no way to control the room temperature—the heat and air conditioning could not be adjusted, and the vents only blew air continuously. Additionally, the room door would not close properly, which raised concerns about security and maintenance. Overall, the room was poorly maintained and did not meet expectations.

The staff at this hotel was nice overall, but I do wish the guy checking us in would’ve mentioned the destination fee before taking our deposit. That was frustrating to find out afterward. I will say the hotel was clean. Every morning housekeeping made our beds and gave us fresh towels, which I appreciated. The location was also a huge plus. It was very close to pretty much everything downtown, and my partner and I were able to walk everywhere during our trip. However, the hotel itself felt very outdated and honestly gave me creepy vibes. The beds and pillows were terrible. My partner and I could barely get comfortable or sleep well during our stay. The TV was also very old even though it was supposed to be a smart TV. One night my partner and I were just laying in bed talking, and I looked up at the ceiling and saw bugs. The AC was also awful and took forever to even start running, and there was something leaking from the ceiling near it as well. The fridge barely worked too. It took forever for our drinks to get cold. Overall, the staff was kind, the hotel was clean, and the location was very convenient, but the outdated rooms, uncomfortable beds, bugs, broken appliances, and AC issues made the stay disappointing

Great location, but they really need to work on their use of AirBnB. We booked through AirBnB, and clearly they are not checking their messages, because we had several issues that they never responded to over our multi-night stay. We found a used band aid in our shower right when we walked in, and 4 days later, still no response from them. Thankfully, AirBnB gave us a little compensation (after also giving the hotel time to respond, they didn’t). Check out similar hotels nearby for a better experience.
