It's the Red Roof Out. Room 130 has such a pungent urin odor, it was burning the inside of my nostrils. Switched rooms . The second room is a room I would use in a movie to express how the character staying in the room is at the bottom of his barrel. The furniture looks like it was taken from the dumpster of another hotel. The sheets and comforter have stains of unknown origin. Someone cut a round hole in the curtain as if to be able to peer through it undetected. Maybe there was a police or P.I. stakeout there at one time . M ost of the patrons had the same surprise look on their face as we did. I can only imagine what their rooms were like. There was a small coffee pot with two coffee packets that looked like they were 8 years old. There were no cups to make coffee . But surprisingly, the mattress wasn't bad and we had hot water .

Room was eh wasn’t expecting to much, but I drove there with a women and when I decided I was gonna get food I went to get it but when I came back the door was locked and she didn’t let me retrieve my belongings and apparently nothing was able to be done I didn’t have much but still annoying, frustrating, and I won’t be going back

Pretty depressing environment to unwind in. Had a hotel booked for the night. To be fair, we didn't show up to check in until like 10-11pm or so, but we arrived to the lobby and nobody was even working the desk. So we, and another group were locked out wondering what was going on (in fact, the other group seemed to have been waiting for a while already as they were on the phone with Red Roof Inn customer service). We were all anxious about our situation but the employee eventually showed up, after a 15-20 minute wait. While this wait was very inconvenient and the last thing we wanted to experience after a long drive, he was very polite and helpful. He gave us our key and sent us on our way, but sadly the friendly customer service and clean lobby was not indicative of the room we would be sleeping in. We walk into our room and a blast of cigarette smoke smell hits us. I'm usually pretty tolerant of thirdhand smoke, but this was admittedly strong and I couldn't really relax with it. The room looked rather rough- both the front door and bathroom door looked like they had taken a beating, the lampshade was stained and looked like somebody strangled it, the desk was falling off from the wall. There was black stains towards the ceiling, but I cannot confirm if it was mold or just smoke stains. The bathroom did not appear to be dirty or objectionable, but the rest of the room made me too uncomfortable to use the shower. Even the safe was missing buttons and was virtually unusable. However the bathroom mirror and sink were super nice, clean, and modern (there was a sign advertising (NEWLY RENOVATED on the outside sign of the hotel, and that's what they were likely referring to). And the TV worked, and had a great selection of channels. The bedsheets seemed clean too. Once I got over the intoxicating smell of cigarette smoke I was eventually able to get to sleep. Sadly, thoughout the night I would hear people outside making noise, making phone calls etc. I know this part is a little more out of the hotel's control, but I have a feeling this is routine for this place, especially if you're staying on the first floor. I heard a man having a long phone conversation outside our door around 2am, and this happened again with another guy around 6am when I wished I was sleeping in. I get that this is a huge hotel and a lot of people are staying here. But afterwards we stayed at some smaller scale hotels that actually offered us peace and quiet. So if I knew beforehand, I would've stayed elsewhere. And it's a shame considering I've stayed at Red Roof hotels in the past and had decent/positive experiences, but this was just lackluster. I'm only giving 2 stars because I didn't see any cockroaches or bedbugs.

Disgusting. I've stayed at a Red Roof before and thought I knew what I was getting into. This was worse. The bed had no blankets and when asked was told "we don't have any". The floors were sticky, the rug torn up, damage across the walls and doors. There was very clearly dried mystery liquids(possibly dried blood) on the walls and ceiling, including the bathroom. The exhaust fan had bugs and grime stuck on it. The lamp was somehow greasy and caked in dust with its crumpled lamp shade. The front desk attempted to find us a blanket and what was received was stained and full of holes. I've stayed in bad motels before but this exceeded disappointments in the absolute worst way.
