Hôtel Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount

The location is good but the rooms are terrible and the climate is even worse, the view from the room is degrading

I had read very bad reviews regarding cleanliness, which in my case was excellent. The air conditioning and the elevators were slow, which was a lie; it's 30 seconds from Times Square. The only thing I would ask for is a refrigerator, but other than that, everything was great. Very happy: no bugs, no noise, and I was able to sleep excellently. The beds are superb.

The accommodations are not good at all, the staff are unfriendly and unhelpful and the location is incredibly crowded. There are much better options in NYC to stay. While I was there the air conditioner went out in my room making it extremely uncomfortable and they were unable to fix it or move me to a new room, ruining my trip.

Unbelievably rude bartender and manager. I''ve never heard the kind of vulgar expletives aimed at hotel guests. Stay anywhere else.

We were a little concerned before we arrived at the hotel because of the reviews here. Perhaps that changed our opinion and expectations a little, but overall it was fine. We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and it suited us well. The location (1 minute from Times Square) is incredible! The service was also nice and everything seemed very clean overall.

The lobby is nice but that’s about it. I arrived and they made me pay another $200 for a “facility fee.” That’s on top of the about $1000 I’d already paid at booking for 4 nights. The beds only had flat sheets. No fitted sheet. No duvet cover. Just two flat sheets below and on top of the duvet insert. Only water was on the 4th floor. Was told check out was at 11am yet staff came into our room unannounced at 9am and asked when we were leaving. The chrome cast tv in our room was also broken. No mini fridge or microwave in the room which would have been fine if I wasn’t charged so much. Outlets next in room so loose that phones would barely charge no matter the charger used. Unsure what this facility fee was for when the facility is deteriorating, even if they try to cover it by renovating the lobby. Would not stay again.

Ina great location, very near times square with lots of travel options very close by. Hotel rooms were basic but clean, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Conveniently there is a coffee shop right next door to grab a morning coffee (no coffee machines in the rooms), and many many places to visit, eat, and drink on your doorstop. Very close to alot of Broadway shows as well if thats your thing!

Room was tiny, only one bedside cabinet, bathroom was dirty and in desperate need of redecorating, bath had chunks of enamel peeling off and not very pleasant at all, bed was knackered, pillows were horrible, air con sounded like someone had a cement mixer in the room, tv was falling off the wall, overall dirty, dated, worn out and in need of desperate tlc, please avoid and get somewhere nicer to enjoy your stay in beautiful New York
