The room included a kitchen, but didn't include any dishes or kitchen tools. Am I expected to travel with my own pots and pans? Haha
The shower is slower than molasses to get hot. Wait! It did not get hot just stayed warm. Banging above and next door you can literally hear what your neighbors do. Interrupted my sleep no doubt. Won’t be staying here again. 1 elevator serving 100 plus people, I decided to take the stairs instead. Otherwise the room was clean, lovely modern design but that’s all it is. This hotel needs automated doors. Carrying heavy luggage and having to release to open the door wasn’t my idea of fun.
Booked a kitchenette room, the kitchenette was completely devoid of cooking utensils, dishware, and even dish soap. Then we saw a sign that those things would need to be purchased - see picture. Pet fee policy was misleading, it started with $10/night and then followed up with a “non-refundable deposit” of $50. It’s not a deposit if it’s non-refundable and why not just say it costs $50 for the first night?? That is also excessive given that the normal pet fee at any hotel, even 4 stars, is $25/night. They also chintz out on toiletries, gave u one small shampoo for 2 ppl, no conditioner, no body wash unless u count the bar of soap. No hand towels. Will never come here again, didn’t feel welcomed because you’re nickeled and dimed for everything ! It also seems like it’s not in a safe area because they make a big deal about needing an access card to get past the lobby, and not holding the door for anyone behind you or they will charge you a fee, and you cannot enter the hotel from any other entrance even though there are signs that indicate you used to be able to.
I appreciate that rooms are clean and spacious. The one I stayed in was equipped with a small kitchen area. While they have a varied clientele, I appreciate they are willing to help less fortunate through different programs. This may not be the best hotel for small children as there is no pool, and there are large dogs allowed, but it is a good hotel for people with service animals or business people who want to be in and out quickly. This is a good place to stay that is centrally located in the heart of Lacey, and close to freeway and stores. Overall, I was happy with my stay, and staff were very attentive.
Look, it's an extended stay, not a 5⭐️ luxury hotel. People live here. People have dogs. Get over your entitled selves. I've been here over a week and the only issue I've had was my door locks needed the batteries changed. I've stayed at a few other extended stays (around here and in Vegas) and this one at least has a secure way to the elevator, actually has an elevator, and has cameras everywhere. What exactly are you expecting?
No coffee, no breakfast, no ice. The rooms r big & cozy. Vending machine is not cold & spits ur change all over the floor.
