OutFest Philadelphia est le festival annuel de cinéma LGBTQ+ de la ville, organisé chaque mois d'octobre dans des salles du Center City et du Gayborhood. Parmi les plus anciens festivals queer de la côte Est, OutFest réunit longs métrages, documentaires et courts venus de cinéastes queer américains et internationaux, des acquisitions de grands festivals jusqu'aux œuvres expérimentales et communautaires qui ne trouveraient pas d'autre vitrine en ville. La sélection prime — une vraie intelligence curatoriale plutôt qu'une logique commerciale — et s'accompagne de tables rondes, de rencontres et d'événements communautaires. OutFest s'inscrit dans la tradition des festivals queer comme outils de construction communautaire : la salle compte autant que le film, et les rencontres fortuites tissées par une semaine de cinéma partagé sont une finalité revendiquée. Les projections ont lieu au Philadelphia Film Center et chez des partenaires du Gayborhood ; pass et billets à l'unité sont disponibles en ligne.
