The honest summary: Córdoba has no gay hotel or gay guesthouse. Same-sex couples book ordinary hotels here without any issue; Argentina has had equal marriage since 2010. The useful question is location: stay in the Centro, Güemes or Nueva Córdoba and you can walk to the bars, saunas and Pride route.

Where to stay

• Centro and La Cañada: closest to X-Bar, Tom Bar, both saunas and the Jesuit Block. Busy by day, quieter at night.
• Güemes: bohemian barrio with bars and the weekend craft fair on the Paseo de las Artes; mostly hostels and small places.
