Halloween Carnaval w West Hollywood rozpoczął się w 1987 roku i stał się jednym z największych ulicznych przyjęć halloweenowych w USA, słynącym z wymyślnych strojów drag i grupowych na Santa Monica Boulevard. Nie jest to wydarzenie Pride, ale odbywa się w sercu miejskiej Dzielnicy Tęczowej, a tłum i kostiumy są tak queerowe, jak tylko Halloween może być.
Trzeba jasno określić, czym jest teraz, ponieważ się skurczyło. Wydarzenie odbywało się co roku do 2019 roku, z kilkoma scenami i celebrytami jako prowadzącymi. Rada Miasta odwołała je w 2020 i 2021 roku z powodu pandemii, a w 2022 roku zdecydowała się sfinansować małe wydarzenia w lokalnych barach. W 2023 roku powróciło w zmniejszonej skali, a edycje 2024 i 2025 zachowały ten format: darmowe, jednonocne przyjęcie uliczne od 18:00 do 23:00 na zamkniętym odcinku Santa Monica Boulevard o długości mili, między Doheny Drive a La Cienega, z jedną sceną DJ-ską w San Vicente, food truckami i kostiumami. Na ulicy nie wolno pić alkoholu, plecaki są zakazane (przezroczyste torby są w porządku), a miasto odradza przyprowadzanie dzieci i zwierząt.
Odbywa się ono 31 października, niezależnie od dnia tygodnia.
