Parque de la Independencia

Parque de la Independencia is Rosario's large central park, home to a lake, a rose garden, museums and the Newell's Old Boys stadium. After dark, parts of it have long been used by men for cruising. In the daytime it is a busy family park full of joggers and cyclists. Argentina is one of the most LGBTQ-friendly countries in Latin America, but this is shared public space, so keep things discreet. At night, stay near lit paths with other people around, carry little cash and no valuables, and leave if anything feels off.
