Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil Brasília presents a meeting between Isabella Taviani and Andresa Sousa in Tom e Vinicius
About the event
Singers revisit the work of Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes on August 29th and 30th, at Clube do Choro and CCBB Brasília.
Two careers, two voices, and a repertoire that has spanned generations for decades. On the third weekend of Tom e Vinicius, a project presented by Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil Brasília, Isabella Taviani and Andresa Sousa meet to revisit the work of Antônio Carlos Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes. The singers perform together on Saturday (29th), at 8:30 PM, at Clube do Choro, and on Sunday (30th), starting at 4 PM, at CCBB Brasília.
With over two decades of career, Isabella Taviani brings to the project an interpretation marked by intensity, delicacy, and strong connection with the audience. Alongside her, Andresa Sousa, a name in the Brasília music scene, brings a career built on Brazilian music and traditional jazz. The meeting brings together different artistic paths around the poetry, melodies, and sophistication of a repertoire that remains alive and open to new interpretations.
As in the entire season, Isabella Taviani and Andresa Sousa will be accompanied by Regional Choro Livre, the project's resident group. The program also includes an opening performance by Trio de Sopros Vento e Verso and percussion, formed by Jackson Delano, Marina Vanéli, and Carlos Cárdenas.
