About the event
“Entre Linhas e Rodinhas: Histórias que Transformam Vidas” transforms the gymnasium into a large living library in two performances in the capital.
Literature, memory, and artistic skating will share the same rink in Brasília this weekend. On Saturday (08/29), at 7 PM, and on Sunday (08/30), at 5 PM, the Ginásio da Escola Maple Bear Brasília, in Asa Norte, hosts the show “Entre Linhas e Rodinhas: Histórias que Transformam Vidas,” a production by Avanti Patinação Artística that promises to transform the space into a large living library, with stories told on wheels.
The proposal is to transform the rink into a large living library, where books, memories, and different phases of life gain movement through artistic skating. The story begins with an elderly gentleman, surrounded by photographs, medals, and trophies, who revisits his journey through two great passions: literature and skating.
“We wanted to create an experience that went beyond technique and sport. By transforming the gymnasium into a large library, we bring literature to the rink and show how the art of skating can give life and movement to the stories that accompany us throughout life,” explains Bruna Mello, the show's creator.
Throughout the performance, each book paves the way for a new choreography. Childhood, dreams, challenges, achievements, and new beginnings help build a narrative that also speaks of family, affection, and the marks left along the way.
