About this place Motel ruta slavic

Motel Ruta Slavic is a gay-friendly hotel located in Punta Arenas, the capital city of Chile's Magallanes region. Situated in southern Chile, Punta Arenas serves as a gateway to some of the country's most dramatic landscapes, including proximity to Patagonia and the Strait of Magellan. As an LGBTQ+-welcoming accommodation, this venue provides a safe and comfortable base for travelers exploring this remote but rewarding part of Chile. The city of Punta Arenas has a small but genuine LGBTQ+ community, and gay-friendly accommodations like this one cater to visitors seeking welcoming lodging in an area where such options may be limited. Travelers should note that Punta Arenas is a working port city with its own character rather than a major gay tourism hub, but it offers authentic Patagonian culture and serves as an important transit point for those exploring the region's natural attractions. For practical details, the hotel is located at Pasaje Kuzma Slavic 714 in the 6300000 postal code area. You can find more information and make bookings through their website at motelrutaslavic.cl. Whether you're planning an adventure in southern Patagonia or using Punta Arenas as a stopover on your Chilean journey, this accommodation provides an LGBTQ+-affirming option in a distinctive part of the country.

Horrible experience and terrible customer service (all with evidence and screenshots). The bathtub wasn't working properly (after a while, the water started running cold and leaking from the plug). We clearly followed all the instructions; we're not stupid. The solution offered was to return when it was working or extend our stay. We opted for the former. So far, so good. The next day, we asked if it was working, and we were told the repair would take about a week. We asked if we could get a refund since we were leaving in two days and hadn't used the three hours that had been canceled. We were told that the bathtub was working fine, but there would be no refund and no extension, since we hadn't used the tub properly (I repeat, 2+2=4: the hot water started running cold and the plug leaked all over us—wow, our fault!). In other words, they didn't honor the verbal agreement and were dishonest. Why offer an agreement if they're not going to honor it? We were charged 100% and only used the motel for an hour and a half. And that's not all. We went back to insist on the agreement being honored, and the owner came knocking on our door rudely, with an arrogant attitude, and said it was our responsibility because they had checked and the tub was working fine. She said we didn't know how to use the tub (lol), that they preferred we leave so the same thing wouldn't happen again, and that the most she could refund us was 50%. I've never experienced anything like this before. If we barely got to use the tub, we paid 100%, and then the next day she kicked us out, we should be refunded 100% or something similar. She excused herself by saying we drank the drinks and had to clean up. Wow, a 50% profit, nice and easy for her. Poor management, terrible problem-solving skills, and dishonesty are the least I could describe this. I manage companies, and if you offer agreements, they must be honored, or at the very least, you should offer a 100% response guarantee. Otherwise, imagine how the responsible party and the company feel. I've attached screenshots of what happened. Terrible service and experience.

Bad experience. I could hear everything they were saying in the room next door, and in the other room they were apparently doing karaoke, since I could hear everything they were singing. I arrived at 2:30 am and paid for 3 hours in the room. At 4:55 am they called me on the room phone to tell me I only had 5 minutes left; basically, they wanted to take away half an hour of service.

The service was terrible, to be honest. They don't respond well to people and always tell you there are no reservations, but then at the last minute it seems there are. Not recommended.
