About This Event

The Marcha del Orgullo is Chile’s largest LGBTQ+ gathering. Movilh and Fundación Iguales organize it for a Saturday in late June, with the crowd moving from Plaza Baquedano along the Alameda toward Los Héroes. In 2026, the date was 27 June, drawing over 100,000 attendees. The 2025 event shifted to 21 June to avoid the primary elections and focused on the murder of Francisco Albornoz.

As of writing, the 2027 date remains unannounced, though recent years have seen the march land on the second-to-last or last Saturday of the month. It’s not just a party; it’s a free political demonstration demanding action on hate crimes and the Ley Zamudio. Movilh also hosts a second event, the Santiago Parade, in November.
