Hotel Brighton

Friendly hosts, the location is great, and the breakfast is excellent. Unfortunately, the rooms are quite noisy, so you can sometimes hear the dogs barking at night.

The breakfast was very varied and healthy overall. There was fruit salad, scrambled eggs, toast, yogurt, coffee, tea, and fruit juice.

A delightful experience on our return visit to Valparaíso, staying at this hotel. The view of the bay from the hotel terrace is spectacular, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent value for money.

It needs updating and protection from the wind.

The views are great, however I give it 1 star for the attention and service, I don't know if they are short-staffed but slowness is their main problem.

Nice view, but at night mice roam around the bar terrace; they don't have any pest control measures in place. The rooms are mediocre, the facilities are poorly maintained, and breakfast isn't included. Although it's listed as included, I honestly don't recommend this place for either eating or staying.

The food was mediocre. The risotto wasn't cooked properly; it was overcooked, lacking texture and flavor. The squid ink was only appealing to someone who'd never seen black in a dish before. It was advertised as having salmon, but it was just a few slivers that didn't integrate into the dish at all, making it feel complete. The wait was agonizing; it only briefly offered some respite from the sight, as we waited for almost an hour. The dish arrived lukewarm. I expected much more, considering the hotel and the view.
