VERSO HOTEL

The restaurant is quite small, but at least the price is okay. As a hotel, it falls short in many ways. The rooms are tiny and have very poor ventilation; they smell awful, the odor (of spices or fried food) was unbearable. They only provided us with an air freshener to address the problem. Parking costs 15,000 pesos per day! And even then, it's difficult to get the car in or out because it gets trapped between other vehicles. The location is quite high up on the hill, so you need a car due to the distance and the dangerous nature of the area. And finally, the breakfast buffet is quite poor.

Experience below expectations. We stayed over the weekend of February 14th. We have had the opportunity to experience various hospitality standards in hotels in Canada and other countries, so we are sharing this constructive feedback: *The good: - Delicious food and cocktails at dinner on February 14th and breakfast. - Good location. *The bad: - Very worn and old towels. - Very noisy room, especially at night, affecting our sleep. - Extremely slow service: 3 hours for dinner on February 14th. - Hot tub with dangerously hot water, impossible to use for more than 30 minutes. - The next day, the staff questioned us about an incident in the hot tub in a way that made us feel uncomfortable, when in reality we could barely use it due to the excessive temperature. We suggest implementing a proper system for monitoring time and establishing protocols for facility use, which would help to correctly identify users and avoid uncomfortable situations with guests. *Suggestions: These are operational adjustments that would make a big difference: replace linens, improve sound insulation, calibrate facility temperatures, optimize service times, and establish a registration system for common area use. The hotel has potential with these improvements. ⭐⭐ (2/5)

The place is excellent; the room, although small (the one we had), is comfortable and has everything we need. The hotel has a very nice style, and the neighborhood feels safe.

They changed the concessionaire and the service improved; good for the young people working there now, the difference is noticeable. The menu isn't as expensive compared to others in the area. Incredible view of the bay.

Terrible New Year's Eve experience. They charge a minimum of $500,000 for awful service. They don't let you choose your table, forcing you to sit where THEY want. The tables are uncomfortable, with no space between people. There are no napkins unless you ask for them. It took about an hour for the main course to arrive. Waiters kept bringing the wrong dishes. The party was poorly organized. The open bar closed at 1:30 am without any prior notice. The drinks were badly made. The music kept cutting out because they had bad equipment. They had an impromptu karaoke setup to bore the guests. The room had faulty TV remotes. The price is extremely high for the poor service they provide. A terrible experience; I will never return.

A perfect terrace for watching the sunset, they have a good wine list, which is appreciated since few places pay attention to important details like this, we will definitely return

I absolutely loved it! Great location, very friendly staff, comfortable, clean, and warm room—everything you need. I'll definitely be back because it has an amazing view of Valparaíso Bay; the nights are simply divine! 😍

An interesting option, modern decor, few rooms ensuring tranquility with few guests, a terrace with panoramic views of Valparaíso, and options for a bar, dinner, and rooftop hot tubs with the same view. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and varied. Located in a quiet, safe neighborhood near La Sebastiana, we were able to walk to the city center and tourist area. Just be aware that the standard rooms are quite small, although sufficient for a couple. We enjoyed our romantic weekend getaway.

We had visitors from Brazil, and although it wasn't closing time yet, the owner instructed us not to go upstairs. There were four of us going to have drinks and dinner. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience.

Great location, right next to La Sebastiana! They have really lovely views. The hot tub experience was wonderful 🤍 and the service was superb. However, the rooms are small, at least the one we had was. The bathrooms aren't particularly comfortable; everything is in one open space. Other than that, everything was spotless. Thank you!! 🫶🏽
