Marcha del Orgullo Cusco (Cusco Pride)

Cusco's Marcha del Orgullo is a small grassroots march run by a local collective that posts as Marcha del Orgullo Cusco on Instagram and TikTok. It usually happens in early July, a week or so after Lima's big June march: the 2025 march was called for Saturday, July 5 at 2pm, and the 2022 one was on July 2. The route has started at Parque Mariscal Gamarra and headed into the historic center past the Plaza de Armas. Expect hundreds rather than thousands; Caretas described the 2025 regional marches, Cusco included, as peaceful gatherings of hundreds. Peru does not recognize same-sex unions. We couldn't confirm the 2026 date or turnout, and the 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
