Nicolas Poggi: Sudor
About the event
SUDOR builds on the work EL BOBO (2023), which ends with a euphoric climax shared with the audience. SUDOR is a post-performative experience where sweaty, exhausted, and ecstatic bodies reach for each other from their own limits, transforming their sweat into a layer that connects the present bodies with their most animalistic desires. SUDOR takes place during the climax, but it is a suffocating and disturbing climax. The audience is both a voyeur and a witness to this party, which takes place on the border between public and private.
Nicolás Poggi is an artist, playwright, and researcher whose practice includes choreography, theater, and the creation of scenic objects. He is primarily interested in the relationship between research and creation itself. His stage work combines the forms he chooses as a means of transforming the theatrical and dramaturgical experience. He is currently based in Mexico, where he founded the company Motos Ninja.
PINKBUS PLATFORM, in collaboration with the creators, proudly presents the Czech premiere of this suggestive work with a Czech cast.
