Fairy Tales Queer Film Festival 2027

Fairy Tales is one of Canada's largest 2SLGBTQIA+ film and arts festivals, held each May in Calgary and run by the Calgary Queer Arts Society. Now in its late twenties, it screens queer feature films, documentaries and shorts alongside visual-art programming and community events. The 2026 edition ran May 13-17; the 2027 dates are yet to be confirmed but the festival traditionally takes place in mid-May.
