This is the second time that my wife and I have celebrated our anniversary here. It was just as peaceful and refreshing as it was the first time :) Beautiful view, comfortable, quiet and relaxing!

An amazing stay. What a wonderful place ! The most attentive hosts, we were so accomodated in a crazy snow storm. We can't wait to come back.

We loved the privacy, hot tub, and riverside setting! The accommodations had more than everything we needed - so well furnished and abundant amenities - a great place on which to escape!

We had a fantastic experience at Inner Joy! The shipping containers are beautifully redone and provide all you need for a weekend away. The property is fantastic and there are lots of close activities / dining spots in nearby towns. The owners are accessible if anything is needed but there was lots of privacy. We experienced a bad snow storm and the owners provided us with a free night so we didn’t need to drive in the snow. The owners genuinely care about their guests and it shows. We will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone looking for a neat getaway experience!

We spent last weekend in the Fergus suite. The view of the river was fantastic. The cabin was cozy and perfect for a romantic getaway from the city. If you need an escape from the city and don't want to travel too far this is the spot.

Inner Joy Getaways lives up to their name. From the tranquil setting and atmosphere of the grounds to the attention to detail on display inside our cozy Elmira themed suite. Star gazing and couples solitude is in abundance here. Laura and Will are excellent hosts, being both friendly, attentive and informative to ensure we enjoyed a great experience even for our short stay. The suite had all the amenities starting with refreshing drinks for the evening to coffee and light snacks for the morning and included a wide array of cooking appliances and my favourite, the BBQ. We look forward to returning for a longer stay in the fall season to enjoy more of the surrounding area and towns. Laura and Will provide a detailed and well organized packet of local attractions and background. I also highly recommend a morning walk on the grounds and along the river. My wife and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and chose to book 2 days at The Inner Joy Getaways. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was a far more beautiful than I thought it would be. The owners/operators were a delight to deal with and couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Would give it 10 stars if I could.

It was a very fun and unique experience to stay in the renovated shipping container. The property was beautiful and you could tell that the hosts put a lot of thought into making sure each unit had all the important information and items you would need for your stay. The hosts were great at communicating to provide help and ensure we had a pleasant experience. Thank you Laura and Will!

What a private getaway this was. Peace, tranquility, and calm all rolled up into one.

This is a beautiful spot to get away from it all. The landscaping is well designed and is a treat to view. We stayed in the Elora suite and had a beautiful view of the river . It was a treat to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the evening. The suites are tastefully decorated.. everything you need is there and organized for your convenience . You are close to Elora and Elmira so you can wander the streets and experience the countryside. Thank you Laura and Will for this wonderful treat.

Only thing I would add is attention to detail when cleaning. But overall clean .. first place I felt that I didn't have to. I sanitize everything.. as a clean freak in A. Germaphobe it was nice and comfortable Fresher towels would be nice as well. But beautiful place would absolutely recommend it Loved it!

We had a wonderful getaway! The setting is cozy with thoughtful decorative elements. Hosts are wonderful!

This was a very peaceful getaway. Quiet and yet the owners were available quickly if asked for anything. I highly recommend it.
