Some visitors enjoy the facilities like the hot tub and steam room, and find the staff friendly. However, multiple guests report uncomfortable experiences with unwanted attention from other men, including being followed and touched without consent, and some feel the venue does not adequately protect women. I've been here maybe an odd 8 times, and had a mix of good and bad experiences. recently, however, my group and I have had such bad experiences that we won't be back. When I go, I am regularly followed by multiple men when trying to go to my room, had people knock on doors and glory holes, and have had a man touch my breast without my consent. I no longer feel comfortable walking around with how I've seen the staff react to people showing aggressive behaviour. The staff have repeatedly told us that we should come and get them if there's a problem. great. when we got the staff, she gave the man being aggressive and yelling, a warning and told him leave our general area. we were told by staff after the incident that he's a "generally nice guy" and "a regular". What bothered me especially was the staff didn't come talk to us after the situation, to get our side of the story or understand the situation fully. When we went back to our room, he was sitting nearby and attempted to talk to us again. I didn't feel like the staff took our word that we felt harassed seriously. If you are considering going, please be aware of this. At this time, myself and my group don't feel safe enough in this establishment to continue going.

For any women considering going, even if accompanied, please be incredibly cautious. The staff have no interest in protecting the women they profit off of. I've visited many times since first discovering this place in December and I've noticed a clear and obvious shift in their internal culture. I used to feel safe enough going alone but now I will no longer be back as I no longer feel safe. I attended one evening with a group of friends for a fun evening of socializing. A man (who we later learned was a regular) targeted and harassed my friend several times throughout the night as well as loudly yelling at several members of our group making all of us feel very uncomfortable and concerned for our safety . Staff had always instructed us that if we felt unsafe to ask for help so we did. The staff did nothing to ensure our safety and instead told us he probably just had his feelings hurt when we declined his advances and that he probably didn't mean the disrespectful and aggressive things he said. The staff also didn't listen to my friend who was targeted by the man but were apologetic to the men in our group for the man's behaviour. A man followed and harassed a woman all night, yelled at her when she told him she wasn't interested, and the staff excused his actions because "his feelings were probably hurt". His aggression was concerning enough we left together as a group to our cars and took irregular paths home to ensure we weren't followed. We won't be back because of this experience but if you choose to go please keep in mind just because you're with a partner or a group doesn't make you safe here.

Threatened to ban me over a NOT “stain” in their sink, but told me I was good after I put in the effort to correct the situation. Living in Calgary, they have put a red flag ban on my ID that most bars laugh at, the only one giving it any credence ironically being Twisted Element, the one bar I would expect to feel welcome at. Bullshit
