The Westin Nova Scotian

Stayed there for the 3rd time and every time I’m being more impressed. Corner room with awesome harbour and snake island views. This Hotel is unparalleled with staff, service, etc. Front desk, super accommodating and the food is so good that locals come for takeout. That tells you everything. Breakfast buffet and à la carte (tried both) were very satisfying and wholesome with many options from very healthy options to the crispiest bacon I had in a hotel lately. If you don’t want to take chances, this is a sure bet.

This hotel was great. Service was excellent. The staff were super friendly. There is a restaurant in house with exceptional food as well as service. There is also a spa service in house however they are their separate entity and would require booking services in advance. The pool and hot tub layout was well laid out. The hot tub started getting cold? But overall, the experience was really good, I would stay here again.

Basic rooms with outdated furnishings. The 2 elevators are extremely slow. Friendly staff and the property is upkept. Close to a lot of amenities well within walking distance (just pray the weather cooperates) Free parking located 100m from the hotel at the grocery store/liquor store/gas station. Tim Hortons is located behind the grocery store. Nice hotel but overpriced for what it is. For +$300/night, the rooms should be a lot more modern. Nothing says luxury like an industrial toilet and 20 year old carpet in your room. (Photos taken a checkout, bed was made daily by room staff)
