Great location, quick check in and check out, very friendly and helpful staff. Our room in section B a bit small but very clean. Small but comfortable bed. We also enjoyed the valet parking. Elevator for the B section is still a problem. We stayed at this same hotel a few years back and one of the two elevators for Section B was not working properly and this time around one of the two elevator was out of order for all of our 4 nights stay. I'm wondering why the problem still exist.

Very centrally located and everything is within walking distance. There's also a hop-on hop-off bus stop right on the corner of the hotel.

A very disappointing experience at the Château Laurier. We had booked and paid for a two-bedroom suite so that our young child could sleep in a separate room while remaining under our direct supervision. Upon arrival, we discovered only when we entered the room that we had been assigned a different room category. We had received no prior notification, neither before our arrival nor at check-in. When we reported the situation, no equivalent solution was offered. We were offered a second, non-connecting room for our baby, which is completely unacceptable for parents of a young child. No member of management came to meet with us on their own initiative. The supervisor only intervened after we requested it, ultimately informing us that no suitable room was available and that we had to leave the hotel. We were already there with our baby, having organized our stay, traveled to the hotel, and planned activities for the following day. Had we been informed in advance, we would have simply cancelled and booked elsewhere. The lack of communication, the lack of a reasonable solution and the way the situation was handled are unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. I do not recommend this hotel to families. Upon arrival, we only discovered once we entered the room that we had been assigned a different room category. We were not informed in advance, not before our arrival, and not even at check-in. When we raised the issue, no equivalent solution was offered. We were offered a second, non-connecting room for our baby, which is completely unacceptable for parents of a young child. No member of management came to speak with us proactively. A only supervisor became involved after we specifically asked to speak to someone, and ultimately told us that no appropriate room was available and that we had to leave the property. We were already there with our baby, after arranging our stay, traveling to the hotel, and planning activities for the following day. Had we been informed in advance, we could have canceled and booked elsewhere.
