East Side Pride

East Side Pride is the Vancouver Pride Society's East Vancouver event, held in late June. It opens Pride season about a month before the main parade downtown. The centre of it is a free, all-ages festival day in Grandview Park on Commercial Drive, with drag, music and local makers.

In 2026 the park festival was on Saturday 27 June, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Sunday there was a drag brunch at Howe Sound Taphouse and a ticketed drag contest at Hideaway Bar on East Hastings. The Dyke March, which also ends in Grandview Park in August, is a separate event. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
