Mexico City's cruising scene mostly happens indoors, in the saunas and sex clubs around Zona Rosa. Outdoor spots exist, but they're less reliable and carry more safety risks. Stick to the indoor places; they're the safer, more practical bet.
Chapultepec Park
Bosque de Chapultepec, the huge park on the western edge of Polanco and Roma, has a long history of outdoor cruising in certain spots, especially after dark. It's a massive park—one of the biggest city parks anywhere—and most of it is just normal public space for families, joggers, and tourists during the day. Cruising tends to be in specific wooded areas near the edges.
Basic outdoor precautions are a must here. The park isn't safe everywhere at night; muggings happen. Pay attention to your surroundings, leave valuables at home, and trust your gut. The indoor options are much safer and more comfortable for most people.
Indoor venues
Zona Rosa has sex clubs and saunas set up specifically for cruising. These are the mainstays of the scene: busy, predictable, and well-run. Entry is cheap, especially if you're thinking in USD or EUR. Saunas usually have a dark room; dedicated sex clubs are more focused and are busiest late at night and on weekends.

Indoor venues have their own rules—follow them. No phones in play areas is typical. Condoms are available. Entry fees are low.
A general note on safety: Mexico City is a big place with real crime, and cruising adds some extra risk. Indoor venues are controlled environments; outdoor areas aren't. That difference matters a lot.
