About this place Divas

Divas is a long-running gay bar on Francisco I. Madero Street in Puerto Vallarta, a reliable stop for anyone looking to go out.

It’s a traditional spot, not flashy, with a relaxed feel that pulls in a crowd of all ages—lots of thirty-somethings and older. People come here to hang out, plain and simple.

Most nights, there are drag shows. They’re good, adding a bit of sparkle without taking over the whole place. You can still have a conversation.

The location is good, too. You’re right downtown, so it’s easy to walk to other bars or just wander around after. Before you go, check their social media for show times and if anything special is on. It’s a friendly place, like a lot of the gay bars in Mexico’s beach towns, and a solid way to spend an evening.

This year I was surprised by the number of people waiting to get in!! Pride Day. Friday and Saturday, I came back on Sunday to get in without any hassle. The drinks were super well-made, perfectly portioned, and beautifully presented! Prices are a little higher than last year, but it's worth it. It's a shame it's such a small place. But it's clean!!! And the service from the waiters was excellent. I did notice the show was a bit lackluster, haha. What happened, China? You let us down. However, it's a place I'll recommend, even if it's a bit of a letdown. I didn't go into the bathroom, so I don't know if they've fixed it yet. They do have air conditioning, and I applaud them for not allowing smoking inside. Thanks for the little bench for smokers. ........................................................................ It's a small, simple place, nothing fancy, but the atmosphere is pleasant. The service is good, and the prices are reasonable: beers from $45 pesos, drinks from $100. I highly recommend the daily drink and food specials—they're great! The show is entertaining, with several performers each night, and you can request your favorite songs. The restrooms could use some attention. The place is air-conditioned! The overall cleanliness is good. The furniture is basic but functional. There's a small table and bench on the sidewalk for smokers. 🤗 Highly recommended for pre-drinks! 🥳

Excellent service, especially Charly the Argentinian. The wings are very good and the prices are great...excellent atmosphere for the local crowd. The bar for everyone.
