Kevin's Hideaway

For me, this is the best bar to start the night in PV. There is a balcony so you can do some people watching. Best of all is the staff, Kevin and the guys are incredibly welcoming- and super hot. I would definitely recommend starting the night here.

Though the atmosphere was nice, the service was inattentive and indifferent. There were two small groups and several individuals when we visited. The server was busy on his phone at the bar while we consistently tried to get his attention. Most places in PV have great customer service, this was not one of those places.

We just happen to come across Kevin’s hideaway while walking down the road. It was so much fun that we went back three more times. Kevin, Christian, and Caesar are all a blast. Christian made me the best Paloma I’ve had in PV. While this is a gay bar, they make everyone feel welcome.

A chill, relaxing place for happy hour. Drinks were tasty and well priced. Service by handsome and friendly Cesar, was flawless. Loud music was the only flaw.

In the heart of PV, this bar offers a great view onto the vibrant Olas Altas avenue. The place is a cross between relaxing neighbourhood pub and vibrant upscale cocktail bar (try the San Kevin!). Very friendly staff (under the watchful eyes of buff and charming owner Kevin) are the right mix of flirtatious and attentive without overdoing it.

Had a margarita , was one of the worst I ever had and cost $14US. Huh? In Mexico? Popular place cause of the 2nd floor view of the street I guess. Service was flirty but a bit aggressive, annoying.

For me, PV is no longer about the party scene but I'm invariably down in that area & above Apaches was a place I'd never known, Kevin's Hideaway. 🤔 This was the early shoulder season and many places haven't even opened yet (sans the main gay bars). It was bristling with fun welcoming energy. I went later after the crowd left and connected with Jovan, fantastic entertainer welcomer ambassador bartender, and Kevin. Turns out we went to the same University and he used to work at a club in California I know well including its owner. I've always found that truer meaningful connection occurs in a calmer environment. It's the story of Kevin's place that is magic so feel good about supporting a young entrepreneurs vision & dream that took a year and a half to come true.

Great music, great drinks. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

Our last night in Puerta Villarta. Kevin, along with his friend Andrew, sat with us, chatted about what changes were coming. Warm, friendly atmosphere and hospitality.

Great spot to visit when in PVR , nice balcony to watch people while enjoying the drinks and hot staff The owner makes you feel right at home, and easy on the eyes ❤️❤️ A must when in town !

A very cosy bar with a nice view of the street. Delicious artesanal cocktails and very nice friendly servers. A great place to hang out with friends, relax with drinks and enjoy the view.

Mauri was the best server we had. I would recommend this place over and over again! Everyone is awesome! They will not only take care of you but make sure you are safe. Came here every night we were here
