About this place Playa del Amor

Playa del Amor is a small cove at the eastern end of Playa Zipolite, reached on foot over the rocks and steps past the last beach bars on the main beach. It is clothing-optional and is the main gay beach in Zipolite, with a mostly male crowd that gets busier toward sunset. Facilities are minimal, so bring water, shade and cash. The surf along this coast can be strong, so be careful swimming. Nudity is accepted here but keep sexual activity out of the beach itself; families and other visitors pass through.

Beautiful place to unwind and get the kit off after a long day. However, the sunset was partially obstructed by the large rocks (as well as the naturally formed solid pieces of Earth materials protruding from the sand).

Excellent sunset views and an amazing place to swim. Just so you know, it's a nudist beach, so if you feel uncomfortable seeing or being naked, I suggest you don't visit.

In the Marietas Islands of Mexico, there is a unique secret beach nestled inside an open-air crater. Accessible only by swimming through a short sea tunnel, it is part of a protected national park.

The beach is beautiful, it feels welcoming, and you don't feel the vastness of the sea or all the whispering; it has a very peaceful atmosphere. I spent the mid-afternoon there and nothing strange happened. The beach should be called Gay Beach instead of Love Beach

It's a fairly small beach and very popular with gay people. The surf is quite strong, so you have to be careful; there are even red flags. I saw it more as a beach to unwind and do things you wouldn't do on other beaches, like even having intimate encounters. To get to this beach, you absolutely have to climb some stairs; there's no other way.

The beach is really nice...it's a shame there aren't any ketoprak vendors
