Overall the views were nice and staff was helpful and friendly. Although we stayed at the hotel, we did not get a chance to experience the bar or restaurant but we could tell the community was very fun and lively. The smaller room size did not bother me as we only stayed for a weekend and I would recommend this hotel for short stays. The beach front views and access were phenomenal. Valet service was a life saver and the hotel is conveniently located near walkable areas Cons: The room had a pest issue but it looks like they'll be undergoing a renovation soon so hopefully that gets resolved with the renovation.

I’m so happy and grateful with our experience dining here. We came here with our bachelorette party of 12 and everyone was so sweet and accommodating. The food was delicious and the service was amazing 😍 the server Marlon and Maria were so sweet and helpful

Food alright. Service in restaurant is bad and dont even get me started on the valet parking. Something as minimum as valet and where you think nothing can go wrong is where you get the first and last red flag in the place. IDK if they get paid really bad but they sure act like it. They make it a bad experience as if it were on purpose. It’s a shame cause it’s a nice place but service convinces me I will not be going back. I think they’re just used to tourists not returning but for sure not a place for locals.

Fun hotel on the beach! The restaurant has great vibes and beautiful views. 3 stars for having issues that weren’t addressed. The front facing staff was super friendly and fun. Water temp wasn’t really warm, odd smells, and missed cleaning my room even though I was gone for 8 hours morning to afternoon. It was apparent bedding wasn’t changed before I checked-in. Hope this review helps improve quality for others.

I was told how amazing the Tryst is at every location so to my surprise when they opened a location in San Juan, I was very invested in at least attending a drag brunch or even just breakfast or lunch. When arriving the parking lots location surroundings will say public parking on Apple Maps. When parking I was met with a man who seemed associated either with the neighborhood or Tryst and told me the public parking on Apple Maps was private and wanted to me to go directly to the Tryst to to get parking. I overheard him talking to security about charging me for parking as if that’s why he specifically redirected me, which is fine but no one was there to assist me as he insisted. We ended up parking up the street in another parking lot. When arriving we were told brunch was full, which is also fine. I’m aware that hourly shows sell out fast. We decided to just eat there and leave, but when sitting we waited about more than 25 minutes to be greeted or help and there was no assistance. Meanwhile we are people of color and others who are not were quickly receiving assistance and being served right in front of us. This told me enough about this location and I’m not going to pretend like this wasn’t an issue. Aside it is a very nice location and I hope they serve everyone equally with the right level of service and attention. This especially being an LGBTQ stay.

Ok so this bar is one of my favorite spots in condado (haven't stayed in the hotel as we live in PR) Always an amazing vibe, super comfortable and welcoming spot for a group but its my go to doe drinks with my girls. Always feel safe and welcome here. The drinks are amazing but super bummed the frozen slushy prosecco machine was broken. Hopefully its back up and running soon. We made reservations for Drag Brunch which we are so excited for!! Food is great and service is on point. 100% check this spot out. LGBTQ friendly and super chill. Tje view is amazing and the comfy loungers are amazing.

4 stars for the service. 4 stars for the restaurant. 4 stars for the bar and bartenders. Do not miss the Sunday Drag Brunch! This hotel is on the cutting edge of fun. Sorry, 2 stars for the room. The room was clean and the cleaning staff do great work. The bed and linens were comfortable and clean. The room is really worn and out dated. Broken and gauged tile covered up by a rug doesn’t cover up the disrepair of a 60 year old room. I get it. It is expensive especially in a beach town but that’s the gig. PLEASE refresh the rooms properly and this is a four star palace, a true destination.
