I stayed here Memorial Day weekend with a girlfriend. It is a beautiful place inside and out, very cozy and comfortable, quiet, and beautifully kept and maintained. I honestly feel as though I got better rest here than at home. Our innkeeper was kind and responsive. Breakfast and freshly baked snacks are available, and we spent some quiet time catching up on the beautiful veranda. It’s tucked away so you have some peace, but it’s close enough to be a quick drive to the Biltmore, downtown, and the highways in and out of town. I highly recommend the Cedar Crest and plan to stay again next time I’m in town.
We were looking for a place to spend an evening near The Biltmore and Biltmore Village. The Cedar Crest Inn had a room on the first floor which worked out really well as you have both a full bath and a powder room. These bathrooms are in an adjacent hallway, but you have exclusive access which makes these private baths. Another benefit of this room (room #1) is you have a private side entrance and you can park right outside your room. Nice for carrying items into and out of the room. The reason we selected 4 stars on the room, was as this property is over 100 years old, the bathrooms are smaller in size. The clawfoot iron tub and surrounding shower curtain made for a tighter space while showering. The amenities (coffee, tea, water, ice, fresh baked cookies) were excellent. Sue and her team made sure we were comfortable and wanted to offer any assistance with our needs during our stay. Breakfast was Continental and everything was fresh and tasty. We will plan on staying at the Cedar Crest Inn on a future visit to the Asheville area.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Crest! The location was perfect for getting into downtown Asheville as well as out to the surrounding areas. The room was very clean and well kept and the inn itself was beautiful inside and out. The complimentary 24h access to tea, coffee and fresh baked cookies was a great touch!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cedar Crest Inn in early May and we were so happy with the hospitality and location. We knew we wanted to stay somewhere close to the Biltmore and it since it was my birthday, my only request was it had to be cute. It doesn't get any cuter with a pink inn nestled atop the hill surrounded by spring time flowers! We will come back again!
I loved this B&B as its close to everything and the bright pink Victorian home sits high on a hill. My only complaint is that the bathrooms sink kept getting clogged and the shower water pressure was extremely light.
