I stayed at the Inn 2 years ago and absolutely loved everything about it. This time I took my husband and we were both very displeased with the following: cheap unappetizing breakfast, the fact that our skeleton key not only unlocked our room but our friends as well, lack of staff knowledge about the area, very noisy ceiling fan, dirty cushions on the outdoor furniture, sticky floor, not sticking to the breakfast schedule and lack of staff.

We loved our stay, and I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. The only disappointing thing for us was the lack of a hot breakfast. Turns out the inn used to do a hot breakfast with eggs, etc, and now they only have bagels/toast, hot water to make oatmeal or grits packets, and hard boiled eggs since ghe pandemic, and they haven’t gone back. For the price (about $200 per night) at a bed and breakfast, I think there should be a hot breakfast. Honestly, the breakfast at Holiday Inn Express is better than what they offer here and that’s just silly. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful! Housekeeping was fantastic, the front desk staff was wonderful. We had an issue with our room on the first night and they promptly fixed it. I would stay here again!

Incredibly happy with my stay! I have a hard time sleeping and really resting at large / chain hotels, and I intentionally went with an Inn on this trip so I could settle in, feel safe and comfortable, and not be all alone in an Airbnb. If you haven’t tried an Inn or B&B before - don’t count it out! The service is warm, casual and friendly. There are all the amenities you’d need in a hotel but with the lived-in feel of a home. The Albemarle is a large, Greek Revival home with many options for room styles and layouts. I stayed in the Reynolds room on the 3rd floor and had wonderful sunsets! This particular room is in the front corner of the home and shares essentially no walls with other rooms. Bed was large and so, so comfortable. Clawfoot tub. Modern TV with streaming services and fast WiFi. I highly recommend!!

We just spent the weekend there with some friends. Absolutely great B&B, neat old time atmosphere, good breakfast, super customer service, and great location. Super modern updated bathrooms. We’re planning another trip there soon and we will use this is our go to stay in Asheville.
