The host way attentive, polite and respectful . However, for the the room was way overpriced for what they had to offer. A few tips for room 106- first i would suggest having shampoos in the bathroom; 2nd, the bed was advertised as a queen size, it was a full size and I would recommended replacing the old mattress, my wife and I could not get comfortable, ended up tossing and turning all night and eventually left early in the morning because of the horrible sleep we had- we didn't stick around for breakfast. The next issue was the inconsistent WIFI, we were not able to stream through our phones or computer, I mean with today's technology why not update the WIFI so your guests can enjoy a pleasant stay? Lastly the cable channels and tv itself- no options what so ever and a tiny tv. I expected a more pleasant experiences more based on reviews but I was very disappointed. On the positive side the place was clean and the host made us feel accommodating and welcoming.
This is the cutest bed and breakfast and the owner Lindsey is the sweetest person. I was taking a class at the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary that was running late and she allowed me to check in later at night and was so kind and personable. The room was adorable and clean and the property is gorgeous. I only wish I could have spent more time there but defintley plan on coming back.
What a wonderful place! I spent one night at the inn but will definitely go back for more. The owners of the inn were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a nice chat over the yummy breakfast I was served. It is nicely isolated yet close to anything one might need. And it is only about 15 minutes from the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary which was why I was there. But I can see myself going back for a longer stay and just enjoy the peace and quietness at the inn.
We just stayed at the Hawk Mountain B&B. It was such a great place! Lindsay is an awesome host! We booked the room with the jacuzzi tub. It was really needed after the two mile trek up Hawk Mountain! Breakfast was so yummy. We will be back and send friends!!
Lindsay and Micha were excellent hosts! The location is beautiful, the pool was relaxing, and you can’t beat free beer in the common room. Breakfast was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the host’s hospitality :).
Stayed there for the Hawk Mountain Birds and Brew weekend. Lindsey is wonderful. Cooked a great country breakfast using local food. She's a wealth of information about the area. Has good recommendations for things to do. We really enjoyed the salt water pool. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for relaxing.
What can we say except WOW! Lindsey Reed runs an amazing BnB following in the footsteps of her retired parents. The views are something out of a magazine! The food cooked each morning was restaurant quality and add to this the company of Lindsey hosting and you’ve got a dream destination. My husband and I are planning our next visit and bringing family along for the ride this time! I’m ashamed to admit I have zero photos of our time there because we enjoyed being disconnected so very much! I will rectify this next time we visit!!!
