Update following change in ownership: We, and our family, stayed at the Lang House everytime we visited Burlington for well over a decade. We had even rented out the whole B&B for family events. The prior owner, Kim, made us feel like we were at our home away from home, and we always looked forward to our next stay. We have stayed at the Lang House following the change in ownership, and it will be the last time we ever stay there. It was, such a disappointment, from the poor service to bland breakfasts. At least we have the good memories from when Kim was the owner. Original: Kim and the Inn’s staff always make us feel like we are at our home away from home when we stay. The rooms are wonderful, and clean. We look forward to the breakfasts even in a town with a great brunch scene. The location also cannot be beat. Whenever we stay in Burlington The Lang House is the first place we look for availability - when they are booked our trip is less enjoyable for it.

Our first visit to Burlington, VT. The Lang House was a fabulous place to stay for 3 nights. If you like classic houses, this home shows SO much charm. Convenient location with it's own free parking. Comfy room with a private bath. Breakfast made to order which was to "die for." Laura and Mark are wonderful hosts and their staff are very pleasant & helpful for anything you may need. We would go back in a heartbeat! Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lang House. It was lovely to stay in one of the historic mansions indicative of the 19th century economic boom. Even though it was cold during my stay I enjoyed walking around Burlington including the Church Street Market and my glass blowing class at AO Studio. I can’t say more about the breakfast with a fresh baked treat and choices including eggs a protein or a yogurt granola bowl for healthy start. I highly recommend staying her if your visiting Burlington. Affordable, comfortable clean and quiet.

Overall, a cozy experience with all the usual comforts. Delightful breakfast served to order with a smiling host. Fabulous walkable location. I took off a star only because I feel for the price that a luxe buffet-style breakfast with richer coffee would be a better value. Yes, a bit of dust on the room furniture, but quite clean overall. I recommend guests bring their wine/beer/snacks to enjoy in the very lovely salons!

My mom & her best friend just went, this bed & breakfast was so disappointing. Dust everywhere, pics were NOT the same from website. They had a great time in Burlington, but the pics did NOT look the same from the website. They will not book there again & honestly should have been reimbursed some money for the quality of the place. The dust bunnies were absolutely terrible! Happy to supply pictures!

What an incredible place to stay!! I can't say enough about this place. The breakfast every morning was the best breakfast I have ever had. Everyone was so friendly, and we felt so at home. Our room was gorgeous. We stayed in the Tuttle Room. We can't wait to come back again!! It was also perfect walking distance from lots of shopping and restaurants, and the lake. We absolutely loved it!!
