About this place Gryphon House

Gryphon House is a gay hotel in Boston's Back Bay, a quiet residential spot close to the city's queer nightlife and sights.

With just eight suites, this place feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel. It’s for travelers who want a comfortable base in Boston without the big chain vibe.

Every room has a fireplace, which is a nice touch, and there’s a desk setup if you need to get some work done. They put out a free continental breakfast, and, crucially for Boston, there's free parking. The Bay State Road address means you're steps from the T, Boston's subway, so you can get anywhere in the city without a car.

Back Bay itself is all tree-lined streets, brownstones, and easy walks. It's a good launchpad for Boston's LGBTQ+ scene and other cultural spots. Gryphon House offers a comfortable, discreet place to crash after a day out, and you can tell they've thought about what queer travelers want in a stay.

Outstanding if you are looking for an authentic Boston residence. Walking distance to Fenway and overall a fantastic experience. Nice breakfast in the morning and the staff is awesome.
