For the price best hotel for the money you can find!!
We stayed for three days because we were close to where we needed to go for work. The rooms aren't that old, but they aren't properly cleaned. There were hairs in my shower, even stuck to the shower curtain. The floor felt sticky, and the whole hotel had a strange, musty smell. As for breakfast, they really should have more options. They basically only have three types, none of which are very fresh; I got the impression it was microwaved food. Similarly, on the second day, they only had one breakfast option, which was terrible. I had no problems with the staff; they were friendly throughout our stay.
Horrible place, full of dust, they don't clean properly, it's a shame I couldn't upload the photos.
I’ve gone here multiple times and each time I regret it. There is never any breakfast, and that excuse “we’re still new” “we’re still trying to put together a breakfast team” is BS. Yall got and had time! They said that in late 2024 or 2025 and were in May 2026. No breakfast, broken hotel doors, key cards that don’t work, no ICE in ice machine, no sheets or comforters or any blankets for the sofa beds that they include, extra expensive fees like a $100 protection fee, just to deal with all this. Im lucky if the TV even works. Shitty hotel, use your money elsewhere
We had just stayed at another Sonesta select two weeks ago and enjoyed our stay. This was a completely different experience! I got a room so I could pamper myself with a nice quiet night for Mother’s Day. It started with some issues that were no big deal. Really non-issues for me. When I asked for late checkout, I was told that “late” was 11. And that if anyone asks I could give them the name of the front desk worker that he told me, as if I’d get spoken to about staying until 11:00. Next, my keycard didn’t work so I had to go back to the front desk to have it activated. No big deal, thankfully I was in the first floor and only a few doors down from the front desk. As I’m walking down the hall, I realized that it smelled like smoke. Thankfully my room did not, so the hall didn’t bother me. I get into my room and turn on the tv to watch a movie and it doesn’t work either. No channels, no streaming, etc. Ok, no worries. I planned for this and brought my computer so I could watch a movie. Had a lovely evening watching a movie from my laptop in bed. Then I tuck in for the night. I planned for a bit of noise (doors shutting, voices passing in the hall) so I planned ahead and brought a sound machine. About midnight I am startled awake by a door slamming so loud I thought it was the door to my own room. Then the loud talking, music, and voices from next door. It sounded as if they were playing life music in the room next to me. In my sleepy haze, I couldn’t tell where the noises are coming from, but it sounds like it’s coming from all sides and above me. I try to sleep more but they’re still making a racket at 1:30. I picked up the phone to call the front desk but there’s no dial tone. I fiddle around with it for several minutes and finally figure out that I have to press buttons just to get a dial tone. I tell the guy at the front desk and go back to sleep with a pillow over my head. I’m woken up many other times with the noise from neighbors. All of this is fine, it’s not the hotel’s fault that there are noisy guests. No biggie! Just super annoying. Then I go to shower. I ended up getting put into a handicapped room. Again, no biggie. but because there’s no lip on the tub, the water is flowing all over the bathroom floor. Thankfully, I’d put my clothes on the counter or they would’ve gotten soaked. The shower faucet only turned just barely over halfway, which gave me only barely warm water. Then I realize there’s no body wash, only shampoo- no hand wash either, shampoo at the sink as well! Then I look and there’s USED bar soaps in the rack! Yuck!! Overall, the neighbors made it a frustrating night, but then the issues in the bathroom had me giving this hotel a low rating. I will not be staying here again.
