The Hideout

Perfect little hideaway to get some work done, or catch up with friends, or read a book, or whatever. It's super cute and in a great location. The food is delicious and the servers are awesome. My coffee was a bit cold, but the flavor was still superb. I had the country avocado toast, and everything was sooo fresh; I absolutely will be back.

I don’t like to leave reviews but I had just went to this coffee shop. I did not realize they were about to close at 2 p.m. when I had just went in. The girls were really rude my intention wasn’t to disturb them when they were just about to close I would have left if they were to have said anything about it but they did not they continued to be rude and I was confused about one of the things I was ordering & the girl told me the sizes and looked & spoke to me like I was stupid. After we ordered they yelled the drinks out to us and turned the lights off as we were still inside. The drinks are good.

I got the my chemical iced mocha it was so good !!! Usually alot of small cafes i don’t love their espresso but this one was one of my favorite .will be returning . They also have a lot of unique flavors

I have been here three times already. Each time I come in here it is always clean. The staff is always nice. The coffee and food is really good. It is just so cute inside, and they have a lot local poster inside so you can see way is going on.

First time here and will be sure to return when in town again. The smoked salmon bagel was delicious! Excellent coffee. Comfortable atmosphere. Wonderful service.

I genuinely never leave reviews, but I had such a negative experience at this establishment this morning that I felt I should share. My husband and I had stopped in for a quick to-go coffee. We were the only ones in line. When we went to the register, the gentleman was on the phone. No big deal at all. But once he hung up, he didn’t even acknowledge us standing there. He proceeded to go to the back, run out other orders, basically anything besides greeting us or taking our order. We stood there for no less than 8 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. I finally thought he was going to take our order but continued to ignore our presence. It wasn’t until I went to leave that he finally said “oh I can take your order now” that he gave us the time of day. I was so upset at that point that I just walked out. I’ve never done that before in my life. I would not recommend this place given the lack of custom service.

One of my favorite study spots in Columbia!! So cozy, amazing avocado toast and coffee, great internet, lots of outlets and different sized, sturdy tables for larger or smaller groups. Also some couches and outdoor seating, and they seem to allow well behaved puppers inside too :) park in the lot behind the building (next to savage craft) for free, non-street parking.

Coffee amazing, whole vibe amazing, and everyone so nice! Can’t wait to come back :)

must have been a management change recently as everything has gone to crap. cashier disappears for 10 minutes at a time. we got avocado toast that had the absolute smallest amount of avocado ive ever seen. we also asked for extra toasted and feta crumbles (cost extra by the way). we were barely given feta, no seasoning like normal, and the bread obviously was never in the vicinity of a toaster. line was out the door and people leaving before ordering. luckily the manager was nice enough to give a refund

A cozy, warm, intimate inclusive spot with lovely staff. Just passing through the area on the chilliest of mornings, a well made out milk matcha latte, made swiftly with care set the tone for my day.

Great staff! I stopped on for coffee and to get some work done remotely. Paige really took care of me and made the experience a success. Definitely going back!
