Sojourn at DuPont Place

The stay was incredible, the room was super clean and modern! The staff was very communicative throughout our stay! Will definitely recommend!

We booked a 4 day stay here. I feel they went above and beyond to help us. The only problem is that there is no elevator, therefore not handicap accessible. Without hesitation, they refunded us our money. Great staff who are easy to communicate with.

Pros: Reasonably clean room Smooth check in and check out Located close to Metro, in walking distance to cafes and restaurants Complimentary water There is a kitchen with a microwave, sink, fridge, plates, cups, which is convenient There is a big desk in case you travel for work and need it for your notebook There is enough light in every "room" - in the kitchen, in the bedroom, at the office (light room is important for me) Cons: No chest of drawers for clothes (because of room size, I believe, in other rooms they have places for your clothes) Tiny shower, do not recommend for big/tall people and people with claustrophobia "Hot" water in the shower is just slightly warm Noise/transport sounds coming from the street and from other rooms (poor sound insulation)

Really enjoyed my stay. Cute little place in a really great, walkable neighborhood. Price was very fair and I was especially impressed by the customer service, which was lightning fast the couple times I had queries over my 2.5 week stay--I even got a real person on the phone immediately at 8pm when I had trouble on arrival with the door code (it was my fault, they were kind and helpful). I've already recommended this place to friends who have guests coming into town.

I have never written a review in my life, but this situation left me no choice. The hotel requires the use of third-party apps for identity verification, including mandatory selfies. It is impossible to contact the operator, and no one answers the phone. Upon arrival, we discovered the corridor was under renovation, which is absolutely unacceptable. My wife and I stood outside for 1.5 hours, unable to enter. This is outrageous! I strongly advise everyone to avoid this horrible hotel. It’s better to pay an extra $50 and choose a more decent place. We ended up leaving and going to another hotel. We expect a full refund!

Had a great time here. The cozy room is very modern and has everything needed. Easy walking access to multiple restaurants and DuPont Circle (shops, restaurants, metro) and downtown DC. Recommend. Although I never saw a staff member, they were in contact regularly via phone and email, and quickly responsive to text messages. The rooms on the Florida St side probably hear more street noise, but it quieted down considerably later into the evening, so did not keep me from resting.

Used to stay with them all the time. Now they have a very untrustworthy third party systems that you're supposed to trust with a picture of your drivers license to book. Can't see myself ever booking here again. Edit: If they have your contact information, and you leave a review they don't like, they WILL call you. Highly unprofessional.

Rooms way to small. I know the location is what you pay for but DAMN CAN I AT LEAST SLIDE PAST MY SPOUSE LOL
