James Hotel

Great location! Hotel with parking makes it convenient in South Beach! Service was good, the gentleman who assisted us allowed early check-in without charge, he was very generous! The rooms are only good for sleeping, the bed was very weak and the bathroom basic! In short, the cost-benefit ratio is okay.

Throughout the night, music was playing in our room from the neighboring hotel; it sounded like they were right there, and we absolutely couldn't sleep. Everything in the room was very old, but the beds and toilet were clean. Water was leaking from the window. Since our flight was in the evening, we asked them to hold our luggage after check-out, but despite having huge luggage storage rooms, they only accepted us until 3 pm. We've had many hotel experiences, but this was the first time we'd encountered something like this. We spent our last day looking for luggage storage. The hotel staff treat guests as customers, not guests.

I walked in from the liquor store first he says I can't use an outlet that he swears was taken by 2 plugs then when I made his realize it go ahead I guess. I'm 42 years old this idiot told me I can't drink a beer in his lobby because he don't have a license to sell alcohol

Handy to Lincoln Road shops and restaurants. Minor problem with room which was fixed in a decent time. Do not order shuttle from the lobby to cruise terminal, Biggest rip off, four times price of a taxi.

Very friendly staff. The hotel itself is very pricey for what you get - which is pretty much disgusting room, without exaggerating. Would not book there again.

Old hotel, but nice. Great location, only a block from the beach. Lots of restaurants and stores within blocks, but of the beaten path, away from the noise or traffic. Price was very reasonable.

Every time I go, I choose this hotel. It's definitely a basic hotel without any frills, but I love that it has free parking without valet service, which is exactly what I look for and prioritize, along with the cleanliness, which I've never had a complaint about. This time was even better because I exchanged a few words with Belen and Ramiro, and the service was excellent. They made me feel right at home and were very kind. When I return, I feel like I'm going back to a place I know and that makes me feel good! And to top it off, the location is excellent; you don't need a car because everything is nearby, especially the beloved Ross Hotel. I went to the room for four, and we were comfortable and happy. The beds are good, and the hot water, so necessary at night for a shower, is great and comes on right away!

It's impossible to spend the night in this place. Dirty, unsanitary environment, mold everywhere. Run away. Health authorities should shut the place down.

Very well located in Miami Beach, ideal for a stay of less than 4 days. It's exactly what you'd expect from a 2-star hotel. Good air conditioning. The receptionists are super friendly.

Terrible place and asking outrageous prices, hallway and rooms smells like mold, AC in the room are tiny and not working, reception is not friendly, DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
