About this place Courtyard Marriott Downtown/Magnificent Mile

On North Saint Clair Street, this Courtyard Marriott is a solid, predictable pick for LGBTQ+ travelers in downtown Chicago.

You know what you're getting with a Marriott: professional service, modern amenities, and a certain level of comfort. It's not going to surprise you, but it won't disappoint either.

The best thing about this place is where it sits. You can walk to the Magnificent Mile from here, which means easy access to a lot of Chicago's big-name shops and restaurants.

Whether you're in town for Pride or just seeing the sights, it’s a perfectly good base. Think of it as a business-class hotel that works for anyone who values practicality and ease of getting around.

You're well-placed to walk everywhere downtown, or hop on public transport. After a long day, you can count on a familiar room. Check their site for rates and what's available.

Because this hotel is located near major medical centers, there are emergency vehicle sirens going off at all hours of the night. It has definitely interrupted our sleep. Due to this issue, we would never consider staying here again.

The location is good, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

We could not have asked for a more central location. Close to many fabulous restaurants, near the shopping district.

Perfect for our Memorial Day weekend get a way. Walking distance to so many things along Michigan avenue and easy to get to if you go out and about. Parking was attached, though a very tight cork screw type garage.

Super aggrivating to go to a hotel and have to walk to another hotel to FIND valet to get your car.....then get locked out of the hotel because staff felt the need to take a break I guess.....not quite sure WHAT happened but literally was stuck outside because the main door to the lobby was blocked off and they had phsycially locked it and said they would be back in a little while. Waited outside for 25 min before valet showed up.....it was cold my bags were all inside bwcAue I had walked to GO find valet. The room heater had a bang that was so freaking loud I felt like the building was imploding Everytime the heat kicked on which in turn made us leave...we couldn't even get a room change because NO staff was available this was the worst experience ever. I was down their for NW Hospital And had been getting poked and prodded all day and just wanted to sleep. Instead I drove home because I couldn't handle the noise anymore and getting locked out while having to find their own valet at a different hotel is rediculous.....maybe hire staff that is going to be at the front desk....bwcAue getting locked out of a keyed hotel is crazy pants!
