A gem near Michigan Avenue. This hotel was very comfortable and quiet among the bustle of the area. Once you get to the 5th floor lobby you are in an oasis. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Stayed for business with colleagues, and we had an accounting issue, but we received no help from their reservations office to rectify. Rooms were expensive for what it was. Window overlooked their HVAC/mechanical on a rooftop. Cracked bathroom sink, weird patch on the bathroom wall where a mirror probably used to hang, and no body wash/soap for the tub until the last night of the stay. Fake flowers on the terrace. Dying hydrangeas in the driveway planters. Chicago has more charming places where I’d rather have spent my money.

I’ve stayed here for my birthday celebration back in April. I had a wonderful time in this hotel. The service is incredible, especially Luilli from the front desk. He welcomed us with the best service and hospitality, even back when I went there in March to look around in advance. He really is the gem of my trip. The room is spacious and very nice and the bar also has really good drinks. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to most of tourist attractions and restaurants in downtown Chicago. I did had some problems with some of the room features but Luilli handled that perfectly when I mentioned to him at check out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a special trip.
